We founded Rockett St George in 2007, after spending our weekends trailing antique shops, flea markets, and car boot sales, rearranging the furniture in our homes and continually re-decorating (much to our families’ annoyance!). With a purpose to break free from chain store offerings by sourcing unique, authentic and quirky pieces bursting with individuality our passion project has grown beyond our wildest dreams into a fully-fledged business.

• Returns: 14 days to return, £5.95 for courier collection except in case of damage, large items £35.
• Rockett St George has had a very successful last few years, from publishing two books to landing an area at Liberty London. But they have kept their small company feel with excellent customer service.

Because our showroom is located at our offices and operating warehouse, we do need you to book an appointment with the team who will check availability for you and prepare the items that you would like to view.

To make an appointment, please use the request form below or Contact Us. Appointments are available Monday to Friday 10am – 12pm and 3pm – 4.30pm.

Please note that the appointment is based in our Sussex Warehouse and we do not hold stock of all items here so some items are not readily available to view. Please make an appointment and specify the items you would view prior to visiting to avoid disappointment. Some items that we sell online are not held in our Sussex warehouse so please always check before visiting and always book an appointment.

We have some wallpaper books and samples available for perusal and loan, please enquire for specific designs that you wish to view ahead of your visit.

If you also wish to visit the RSG Outlet Shop please make sure you book on a day that the shop is open.

Breakdown of selection

The selection is more curated than some retailers, a smaller range of sofas for example, but all carefully chosen. The price for a sofa starts at £1,400 and goes up to £3,750. Higher quality but also price. Lighting ranges from £25 – £920.

Lyndsey and Guy Goodger founded Rose & Grey as an online boutique in 2008 – when buying furniture online was relatively unheard of. After the success of the first capsule collection the brand’s expansion began, with new product categories introduced each season. With a hand picked selection of our best-selling furniture and home accessories there will be something to help everyone to make their homes happy. We couldn’t squeeze in every single Rose & Grey product, so if there is something you specifically wish to see or try out then please call or email ahead so we ensure that it is available for you to view in our store.

We’re based just outside the buzzing market town of Altrincham, in south Manchester. If you’re travelling from further afield, there’s plenty to do and see in the area if you’re planning on making a day of it. The award-winning Altrincham market with its amazing food and drink stalls and beautiful market hall is just a five minute drive away, surrounded by a variety of gift shops, bars and restaurants. A ten minute drive will take you to Dunham Massey National Trust property, located in the scenic Cheshire countryside.

We’re child friendly and also welcome dogs, we even have our own office pup, Bailey who is often available for a cuddle if you’d like to meet him. Whether you want to browse in peace or prefer to sit down and have a chat with one of our friendly team, we love to welcome everyone through our doors.

If you’re on the hunt for a new sofa, our recently added back room is where you’ll find our Snuggle upholstery collection with plenty of sofas and armchairs ready for you to sink into and try out. We can talk you through the different options available and show you our fabric samples while you settle down with a cup of tea or coffee. We love to hear about your interiors projects.

We are on Atlantic Street between Atlantic Bowl and Bizspace look out for the navy blue building!

There is limited parking in our courtyard car park.

WE MAKE BEAUTIFUL LIGHTS WITH OUR HANDS

It all started with a healthy brass obsession and a starter home we wanted to make our own.  The Edison bulb and fabric cable craze was kicking off, and it seemed like all the lamps and lights on offer were either too generic or completely unaffordable.

SO WE SOURCED THE PARTS AND MADE OUR OWN…

We proved to ourselves that we could make custom lights at a reasonable price.  And with some great feedback from friends and encouragement from the amazing maker community in Brighton, we decided to turn it into a business-  first on Etsy, and now here on sparkandbell.com

WE REALLY LOVE WHAT WE DO

So what began with a love for design and a desire to make something special for our home, has turned into a  passion for helping others do the same. Breakdown of selection

The focus on partnering with the makers of their products means there is a more specific style and selection available, but that also keeps the pricing within a similar range. Lighting is from £35-240, and their most common piece of furniture is their bar stools which average around £110.
