Visual Roars was created and developed by Nadia, a wife and mum of two from Whitstable. Nadia’s desire is to provide something a little less ordinary, by providing interiors that will add uniqueness to your home through cool, distinctive, individual and stylish items!

Breakdown of selection

The selection is more curated than some retailers, a smaller range of sofas for example, but all carefully chosen and with a good range of prices. Sofas start at £650 and go up to £4,000. Lighting is a smaller range with table lamps from £20 and ceiling/floor lamps for £100-400.

Combining her strengths with her husband Andrew, the pair, who never planned to start a business together before, took a leap of faith and created the Amara that we know and love today.

Amara have built a strong reputation through offering sought after brands as an online boutique for many years with a focus on great customer service. We pride ourselves on having impeccable customer service, no query or request is too small or too much for our dedicated team to tackle. In 2011 the team was rewarded for all of their hard work beating off stiff competition to win an award for Best Online Customer Services. They continue to be dedicated and passionate about the vital role they play at Amara, striving to make sure each customer has an enjoyable shopping experience every time.
On the site we also use Feefo, an independent review company that gives customers an easy to use way of leaving feedback about their Amara experience. Customers can leave reviews on both the service they have received and the products themselves, and it gives us the ability to respond publicly to all queries, ensuring customers that we do our best every step of the way. In March 2014 Amara was awarded Feefo’s Gold Trusted Merchant award for providing consistantly outstanding customer service. This has pushed us even harder to maintain the high level we already have and will keep us motivated to provide an even better customer experience in the future.

Amara have an almost overwhelming selection, with thousands of items in each category, and a wide range of prices, everything from small touches that will elevate a room to a gold plated cutlery egg for £11,000, for example!
